Last week the girls turned 15 months old. They got a very good check up at the doctor this go around. I am excited to say that their ears were clear and the tubes are still in place. Dr. Burkes kept going on and on about how good they are doing, which is good to hear considering all the sickness and ear infections we have battled. They were not very happy about getting shots, but loved the suckers the nurse handed them afterwards. Anna weighs 22 pounds and is 32 inces tall. Sydney is 20 pounds and 30 inches tall.

Playing outside Sunday after church. They love a good popsicle.

Our girls have been wild over the last few days and I LOVE IT. We have had so much fun. They are constant chatter boxes and each one of them can be very bossy. Sydney has said Dora, Nanna, Mema, Anna (she was already saying mama, daddy, byebye, and Tad) Anna on the other hand, we can't quiet figure out her words. (she can say mama, daddy, byebye, baby) She will let out a line of jiberish and then look at you like "what do you think"

The girls taking a bath. We are finally getting some hair. Anna has way more than Syd. Poor Syd only has a mohawk. Anna has a smile that comes from deep within. She grins with her whole body.

Anna loves her baby and baby bottles. She is constantly pushing her baby stroller and hugging her baby. We are trying to teach her not to pick up the baby by its hair though. I think sometimes she misses her bottle though because I often find her with the bottle or paci in her mouth.

Sydney decided on Sunday that she wanted to lay in her baby bouncer. Poor chair was flat on the floor, but she didn't care.

Happy Sunday. Waiting to leave for church. So I know its been awhile since I posted, but what can I say other than the computer has been broken and its just not enough hours in the day. We have been so busy lately. We are really enjoying the weather and trying to spend all our time outdoors. (This makes the girls sleep so much better) Both girls are in the middle of some major teething. They do not know how to walk anymore, they only know one speed and thats full force. They have also been going through a phase of being shy and wanting to be held all the time, but thats getting better. They are chattering nonstop these days so we do not know what its like to have a quiet evening. We would not trade them for a hundred quiet evenings though. They are such a blessing and watching them grow and discover new things is so wonderful.

Easter morning. I have such a beautiful family.

Dad and Anna

Easter morning. Enjoying the Easter bunny's surprises.

We had a big Easter Egg Hunt at Nana and Pa Dave's. It was really nice to visit with everyone and Anna and Sydney loved their outside playhouse.
Syd enjoying a cupcake. Anna and Syd having tea.

Good Friday we headed to Baton Rouge Zoo with Mema, Nenna, Aubrey, and Addison. IT was a blast and the girls loved it. Sydney is really into animals right now. Here we are enjoying the playground. They have gotten so big and were able to climb and go down the slide on their own. We had been practicing at home how to climb up the stairs and not up the slide.

Enjoying a snack at the zoo. Anna taking a break.

Sydney did not want a rest break. She was ready to go see the rest of the animals.

Sydney looking at the animals. Mema walking Syd. (ha-ha) This little poodle backpack worked out to be a good thing at the zoo. Anna was not to sure of it, but it did not bother Syd at all as long as she was moving.

Over the Easter holidays went went to visit Nenna, Aubrey, and Addison. The girls enjoyed Aubrey's Barbie Jeep. The girls having a sweet moment watching cartoons.

Our first Easter Egg Hunt was the Saturday before Easter at the home of Lane and Patsy Boler's. The church family and children gathered that morning for treats and egg hunting. The girls enjoyed playing with the other kids and being outside. Not very good hunters at this point though.
Sydney was not concerned with the Easter Egg Hunt. She wanted to play with the dog.

Sydney did not want to pack her basket so Anna helped her out.
Anna finally got the hang of hunting eggs.
