I know I have not posted in awhile, but we have had alot on our plate. Last Thursday, Anna had tubes put in and Sydney had her adenoids removed along with a sinus irrigation. We were so nervous and scared to death, but things turned out wonderful. Both girls did so good and were little troopers. So far they have been well and in great moods. I just hope and pray that they can stay well now. Anna has started talking so much over the last few days and she is so hard to keep up with. She runs around the house in circles yelling Yo Gabba Gabba. Sydney has also found her spunk. She giggles all of the time and is starting to get into everything. She has more sass and is starting to stand up to her big sister. We are so in love with these two little girls. They have our hearts thats for certain.

Anna and Sydney did not know what to think of all the snow. I took forever to get them bundled and it was so cold that we did not stay outside long.

Anna and Sydney enjoying their Mardi Gras beads. This was one day last week when my spoiled rotten baby would not let me put her down.
My wild child Anna helping with laundry. I later found these shorts in the kitchen drawer with my tupperware.

Happy Early Valentine's Day to me. Micah got us tickets to see Kelli Pickler perform in Biloxi Saturday night and he planned the works. A true gentleman this weekend. We stayed at the Beau Rivage, had dinner at Ruth's Chris, and then took a limo to the concert. It was such a good concert and we had a blast on our date.
Kelli signing autographs in her WHO DAT shirt. She signed my ticket. What a good performance and she is so cute and down to earth.

Saturday I took Sydney to Rylee and Presley's Birthday Party. Anna stayed at home with Micah because she had a light fever from her cold. The birthday party was a blast and I was so disappointed that Anna missed out because she would have had a blast with the big slide and jumpers. Here is a group picture of all the kids at the party. Sydney is the first one in the pink pants.
Taylor loving on Sydney

Sydney in the pool of foam blocks.
At the jungle gym

Daphne and Jackson going down the slide. I took Syd down it and she loved it, but we did not get a picture. All of the kids loved this slide and I think a few of the adults were sore the next morning from helping the smaller kids get to the top.

Sydney was stealing chicken off Anna's tray. Child proof cabinet locks my butt. Anna and Sydney a blast playing in the pantry.

This past Friday the girls has their 12 month check up and shots. They got a great report and guess what, NO EAR INFECTIONS!!! ( I probably just jinxed us) Anna weighs 20 pounds and is 3 inches taller than Sydney. The doctor said she was going to be a tall drink of water. And my little Sydney is just going to be short. Her legs are so much shorter than Anna's. Sydney weighs 19 pounds, but she out eats Anna everyday. Sydney also started walking this past week. Bless her heart, she gets so exicted and falls over. She is getting better everday though. Anna put on a show during her check up and Dr. Burkes loved it. The girls also got their first sucker while at the check up and it worked like a miracle to dry their tears right up after shots. (I think I will invest in sugar free suckers to bribe them with)
This could be the start of something really nice. Sunday afternoon the girls actually laid down and watched cartoons for a few minutes. I have recently wished for a lazy Sunday or Saturday to curl up and watch tv. I can't wait until we can put on a movie and cuddle together.

Saturday we went to Jackson's 2nd Birthday Party. What fun we had, despite the cold weather. Mary had it decorated in Jackson's favorite THE BACKYARDIGANS!! I did I mention my girls love the Backyardigans also.
Sydney with her UNIQUA mask on. Jackson getting ready to blow out his candles. He crawled right on the table and got ready, such a big boy.
Anna riding Jackson's new tricycle. She loved it. Both girls wanted to be pushed around and everytime we turned our head, Anna climbed right on. The bad thing was that she didn't want to sit, she wanted to stand on the seat.

Enjoying the jumper that was inside. I think we should invest in one of these, It would be awesome to have in the summer.

Anna (she has to climb on everything and yes she feel out)
