Anna and Sydney playing in mom's shoes. I have my little "boy" that does not like to wear clothes and my little priss pot that wants to be dolled up in heels.
Micah and I celebrated our 5th anniversary in Las Vegas this year. A big thank you to all the grandparents for helping out with Anna and Sydney. It was a much needed vacation for us, but I think it will be a long time before I leave them again. I missed them way too much and could not wait to get back to them.

We are finally getting to enjoy the pool this summer. I have started taking the girls by myself and can actually enjoy it. They are really starting to get use to the water and play with the other kids without me having to hold onto them. Daycare was closed a couple of days last week, so Micah and I took turns being off work. I really enjoyed my extra time with them and they were so good. I have messed up though by putting them in our bed so now they scream at the site of their cribs. So next week we are changing the crib to a big bed and heading out to redecorate their room. Pray that it works and we get more sleep and them out of our bed. I sure did enjoy the snuggle time, but they are not good sleeping partners.
Anna enjoying Sat morning cartoons. We are still trying to master brushing our teeth.
Asleep together in our big bed. So SWEET.

This week at daycare has been eventful and its just Tuesday. When I picked up the kids Monday afternoon, all of Syd's teachers were worried about her "booboo" on the back of her head. Mrs. Charlotte said "I think her scab feel off and she has a little dried blood" So I checked her out. Then I got the giggles because there was no booboo. It was a red, chewed up gummy bear. So much for skipping hair washing on Sunday night.
On Tuesday, I got a call while at work that Anna bit another child AGAIN. So I left work and headed up there to bite my child. I felt like I was walking the hall of shame when I got there. I got to her classroom and pulled her out into the hall and bit her. I gave her a long talk about biting and being mean all the while other teachers were looking out their doors to see what the crying was about. I felt awful, but I am at wits end with this biting stage. They probably talk about me at daycare now.
It has been awhile since I posted last. We stay so busy and on the go. We have not stayed at home in several weekends between birthday parties, baby showers, and other visiting. Last Saturday we headed to McComb for Ivey and Jay's Birthday Party at Wiggles and Giggles. It was so much fun and the girls loved it. Hours of jumping and sliding and playing with other kids. Anna is a little more stand offish these days, where little Syd knows no fear.

Welcome baby Camryn Taylor Poole. Camryn arrived last Wednesday afternoon to the proud parents Jacob and Paige. She is so precious and such a good baby. She has a head full of black hair and she already has more than both of the girls. I guess one day I will get to fix some pigtails.
Proud Papa Jake

Anna at the hospital when we were visiting baby Camryn. The girls were not allowed back into the room, so they ran all over the waiting room. Thanks Alexa for playing chase with them. Sydney on "base" during chase

Just waiting for that door to open so they can escape.

Sydney looks like a little girl here. No more baby.

Anna loves mommy's high heels. This child is obsessed with shoes. She wants to wear them to bed every night and some nights she does.
