Just the Girls!!!!
Micah went to Baton Rouge to the LSU Football Game this past weekend, so the girls and I stayed home for some much needed TLC. After a full day of playing outside and then helping me clean house, the girls took a jacuzzi bath, lotioned from head to toe, and then got a mani and pedi. They love to have their toenails painted. This picture of them in the bath was after our lasagna dinner and yes, they fed themselves. They did manage to eat a good bit, but my floor caught a good bit also.
This past August Micah and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. So much has changed in seven years. In January 2009, the lord blessed us with two healthy girls. Anna and Sydney make each day a joy. In April of 2012 we were blessed again with a healthy boy we named Minor. We have enjoyed this blog so much and are thankful that we can share our family stories. Hope everyone enjoys the updates.

The girls got to ride their first pony at Marci's birthday party. They were a little scared, but in the end was not ready to get off. These pictures did not come out the best, but I had to post them. They got a little taste of living in the country that day. I had to hose them off with the water hose before we left. Talk about DIRTY.

A much needed catch up on the blog.
I know I am so behind these days. I continuously repeat that we never stop, but I promise we never STOP. Anna and Sydney's bed time has gone from 7:30 to 9:00 now, so I am very limited after they go to bed. Also, I admit now that we have to lay down with them, its hard to get moving again. Both girls are in their big beds and doing wonderful. I bought a "potty" the other day because they were telling me after they would use the bathroom. We have not used the potty yet though. Ever since I bought it, neither child has told she "pooped". I know not to rush it. Whenever they get ready, we are prepared. We have had an exciting couple of weeks. Anna had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite and poor girl swelled like she had been decked in the face. Her eye was swollen shut and her ear was fat, but her spirit was good. We got some dirty looks in the MD office on that visit. I promise we do not beat our children. Sydney's reaction was bad, but we had medicine from Anna's visit that we did not have to take her in to the doc.
Football is here and the Poole residence has not been the same. We really have enjoyed being out on the back deck, grilling, and watching football while the girls get to run wild.
