This week at daycare has been eventful and its just Tuesday. When I picked up the kids Monday afternoon, all of Syd's teachers were worried about her "booboo" on the back of her head. Mrs. Charlotte said "I think her scab feel off and she has a little dried blood" So I checked her out. Then I got the giggles because there was no booboo. It was a red, chewed up gummy bear. So much for skipping hair washing on Sunday night.
On Tuesday, I got a call while at work that Anna bit another child AGAIN. So I left work and headed up there to bite my child. I felt like I was walking the hall of shame when I got there. I got to her classroom and pulled her out into the hall and bit her. I gave her a long talk about biting and being mean all the while other teachers were looking out their doors to see what the crying was about. I felt awful, but I am at wits end with this biting stage. They probably talk about me at daycare now.
This past August Micah and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. So much has changed in seven years. In January 2009, the lord blessed us with two healthy girls. Anna and Sydney make each day a joy. In April of 2012 we were blessed again with a healthy boy we named Minor. We have enjoyed this blog so much and are thankful that we can share our family stories. Hope everyone enjoys the updates.

It has been awhile since I posted last. We stay so busy and on the go. We have not stayed at home in several weekends between birthday parties, baby showers, and other visiting. Last Saturday we headed to McComb for Ivey and Jay's Birthday Party at Wiggles and Giggles. It was so much fun and the girls loved it. Hours of jumping and sliding and playing with other kids. Anna is a little more stand offish these days, where little Syd knows no fear.

We have been super busy over the last few days and the girls are keeping me on my toes. We celebrated Father's Day at home because Sydney was teething and was super grumpy. The girls are so lucky to have such a great dad who loves them more than anything. He is such a big help with them and is always right there with me during meals, bathing, dressing, and getting ready. The girls love to play hide n go seek with him or to have a dance party at night while watching CMT or VH1. They both get a slow dance before the night is over. Thanks Micah for being such a wonderful father and husband, I could not have made it without you.
On the other hand, I feel like I am raising wild monkeys. They are very active at this point. Sydney scared me to death the other day after she went missing. I found her hiding between the tire and and truck. The wheels were turned and she eased between. It all happened so quick. Saturday while I was cooking lunch, Anna came in the kitchen with her diaper in hand and put it in the trash. But the bad part was that she had a dirty bottom if you know what I mean. So maybe she is getting somewhat interested in potty training. Time will tell. Enjoy my babies.
